Timeshare Relief Reviews Reveal Dozens of Frustrated Customers
Looking for relief on your Timeshare contract? You may want to do your homework first before recruiting relief companies, the new snake oil salesman on the block.
There’s a growing number of negative reviews for Timeshare Relief. A majority of these reviews state to the company’s inability to help consumers discard their timeshare weeks. While most consultants start out with benign intentions of helping thousands of people get rid of their Timeshare contracts, they quickly find out they bit off more than they could chew.
If you’re are locked in a Timeshare contract, you appreciate the Herculean task of trying to get rid of it. So you may sympathize with the company here. But, what remains unexplained is the fact that dozens of customer complaints are about the company’s eagerness to take money and adamant refusal to give it back when they don’t honor their end of the deal. That’s just bad business, and the Better Business Bureau says exactly this.
No Reprieve for Customers
Take, for instance, the case of this unhappy customer. Let’s call him Mr. Frustrated. Frustrated contracted Timeshare Relief a year and a half ago in 2012, requesting them to make his Timeshare contract vanish. What Frustrated didn’t know was that Timeshare Relief had a wonky way of doing business back then.
The company was so bad that it ended up transferring one of Frustrated’s property back to him! From one perspective, the whole situation is quite funny, but for Frustrated, it’s the furthest thing from funny. So as to understand what he went through, imagine paying off your mortgage, and a few weeks later, you get a notice from the bank claiming you’re still in arrears. When Frustrated tried to follow up on the matter, he never got a response from the Timeshare Relief Consultants.
You may be thinking, that was way back in 2012 and things must have changed at the company by now. Well, they haven’t. Another company going by the name Timeshare Solutions has made a habit of ripping customers off. They are in the habit of cold calling Timeshare consumers and telling them they have people lined up to rent their Timeshare. All the customer has to do is pay a one-time flat fee. With all the excitement they can master, hundreds of people sign up with the company and wait for the magic show to begin. The show starts alright, but it isn’t the kind of show the customers hoped for or paid for. Instead of their Timeshare disappearing, hundreds of customers watched as their hard earned cash did a Houdini. At the end of the day, they were still stuck with the annoying Timeshares. Oh, and this happened last year.
But 2015 wasn’t full of nasty surprises for property owners looking to offload their assets. The Supreme Court slapped a Timeshare operator with a $500, 000 judgment for intentional and fraudulent conduct. Sort of the same conduct cited in various Timeshare Relief reviews. The law appears to have finally caught up with these miscreants.
