There is no doubt that Indian politicians are one of a kind. While some politicians act in the most responsible way to make this country a better place, some of them choose to amuse people with the unbelievable and stupid statements that they make.

One such event happened recently, which is sure to make you laugh, if not get offended. But one thing is for sure, that this incident had all the potential to make it to one of the entertainment blogs of India.

What was the incident?

Well, this took place in Rajasthan, where a politician named ‘Shambhu Singh Khatesar’ thought that it was OK to urinate in open. And that too near a wall, which was right next to a BJP campaign poster.

Thankfully, because we live in the modern world where every second person has a smartphone, he was captured urinating in public by someone. And not just that, it was also put forth on the social media platforms.

What happened next?

As normal people like you and I would react, so did the Netizens. He was trolled and shamed for urinating in public. Additionally, people also slammed him for urinating next to a BJP poster, which clearly questioned his regards and respect for politics altogether.

So, what did the politician do next?

Now, you must be thinking that the politician realized his mistake and apologized. But, has any politician ever really apologised in India? No. Of course not. And as expected, even he didn’t.

But what he did, made every sane person question about the fact that, why on earth is a politician? Why did people give him power to hold a position in a political party?

Just like you would have read in most entertainment blogs India, his reply sounded more like a joke. He said that, “The photo of me urinating against a wall is not near a campaign poster. There was no urinal nearby for kilometres at a stretch and I was busy working since morning. And urinating in the open was "an age-old tradition”.

An age-old tradition? Really?

Unbelievable right?

On one hand where our Prime Minister is trying his best to make all states 'Open Defecation Free', this insane politician believes that defecating and urinating in the open are two different things.

According to him, it’s ok if you urinate in public, as long as there is no one around. So, if you go by his underdeveloped thinking, you can urinate anywhere as long as the area is secluded.

I know, you have a smile on your face which is just to hide the utter disbelief from within. Even after reading this news, I was not quite sure that any person with a little bit of common sense would not come up with the same explanation as this minister did.

What’s wrong with Indian politicians?

To be honest, most politicians in India act as if they are assigned to churn out a story for ‘best entertainment blogs India’. Because most of the times what they do, or say ends up being highlighted. And it seems that it’s their goal. Because there isn’t any difference in their attitude, even though they receive a lot of backlashing.

This news is a live example of the real life content generator. As long as politicians keep doing things as per their thinking, I bet there won’t be any requirement for content writers to think about a new topic.

In Conclusion:

God knows when our country will finally be in the hands of responsible people. Because looking at the current condition of most of the states, it doesn’t seem to in the right hands. I hope time will come when these politicians make their way to real news instead of being featured in entertainment blogs, like they are now!
