Things you should not share on the social media

by Dorano V. Professional PR since 2010

In this era, you should be very careful about what you share on social media like Instagram, Facebook, telegram, twitter and many others. Most of the social media collect some of your personal information, for example, the age of your name your location among others such as your marital status and religion. If you are not careful what you share on social media can come be affect you in the future.

social media

Nowadays people share almost everything on their social media pages which is not so good.  Learn to avoid sharing some details on your pages and by the way, if you want to learn more about AARP Medicare supplement 2020 this is the place to be. Some of the things you should not share on social media are:

  • Personal identification documents

Some of the people due to the happiness for instance first time to get a logo book, driving license they end up sharing this information on social media. Sharing this information on social media can put your life at risk. By doing this your identity can be identified and that’s how the cases of identity theft start.

  • Your nudes

This is becoming popular nowadays due to the generation of the people in this era who do not really care about anything. A person will share anything on her Instagram to a point of sharing nudes! This can lead to you losing the trust and respect from people and we have even some companies that fire people because they do not tolerate such nonsense.

  • Your personal location

This seems to be somehow crazy sharing your location with everyone on social media, what do you intend to gain? I mean this is like inviting robbers to break into your house because they will know that you are not around! It is a cruel world and people are taking advantage of such situations so be sure to be very careful with what you share. Make sure not to share your location especially if you don’t have a watchman back at home or at least a security system.

  • Expensive gifts and purchases

Sharing gifts and expensive things on these social media platforms can lead to envy arising among some of your friends. While they scroll on your page and see the things you have they envy you and it can even ruin your friendship. It can also put you in trouble since it can catch the attention of bad people such as thieves and they can plan to steal it and you end up being harmed during the robbery

  • Videos or photos of your friends that you could have taken without their permission

Some of the people are stupid enough that they can take a photo of their friends without their knowledge and sharing them on social media platforms. Some photos can end costing your friends their jobs so you need to be very careful with what you share.

  • Self-incriminating evidence.

The smallest things that people value less can put you in trouble. For example, joking about serious things like drunk driving, sharing photos of you when smoking illegal drugs, sharing firearms on your timeline can put you in trouble and be arrested.
