Things That You Should Follow On Everest Base Camp Trek

First of all, let's start packing. You are going to a cold place and you need to have warm equipment. Try to pack only the things that you use in the mountain and don't take unnecessary things with you. The things that you don't need on the trek, that make your bag heavy because there is a weight limitation on the flight that you will take from Kathmandu to Lukla. You only can take 15kg of weight with one ticket including your hand luggage.
Doing a trek alone to the Everest base camp trek is not good. You will meet lots of trekkers on the way for sure but they to whom you meet on the trek, they might not stay with you all the time. You might have a problem of altitude or any minor or major accident along the way. If you suffer from these problems, then it will be difficult so always trek with friends or hire a guide.
Respect culture and customs on the trek and don't bother wildlife. Some wild animals considered as sacred so don't talk as killing them even joking. Also, you will be walking through the national park and the animals are protected. You need to ask people before taking their photos. And while entering the monasteries, always wear long sleeves and taking photos inside monasteries is prohibited.
Give space and stay on the safe side if you see people or animals carrying loads. Because they may push to the cliff.
Altitude sickness is a serious problem so trek with some spare days and take enough acclimatization rest days on the way up. Walk slow, drink plenty of water, sleep well, eat well and keep warm yourself. Go to the trek with a good travel insurance policy which covers an emergency evacuation up to 6000m of elevation.
