These are the best beaches in the USA, and you MUST visit them
The vast and beautiful country has
everything to offer the enthusiastic traveller – from scenic vistas to adventure parks,
from pretty suburbs to glitzy cities and from mountain ranges to the world’s
biggest malls – so your US visa
will actually give you the maximum bang for the buck.
When booking an international holiday package for your US holiday, make sure to include pit stops to the country’s beaches. Since there are so many beaches to pick from, we make the process easier for you by listing the best ones:
1
Ocean City, New Jersey. If you’re looking for long
walks, paved streets for riding your bicycle and azure seas to feast your eyes
on, this beach is the answer to all these wishes. It adjoins a large beach town
with a slightly hippie vibe, and it is a great place for families. There is
also an all-night Thursday family entertainment zone here, so you can check this one out as
well.
2
Gulf Shores, Alabama. This beach is part of 32 miles
of pristine white sandy beach line that is cheek by jowl with the Gulf of
Mexico on its South and the famous Orange Beach on its North. The beauty of
this beach is further enhanced by its shimmering sand – it is not sand at all,
but micro quartz crystals washed down from the Appalachia mountain range over a
period of thousands of years.
3
Hammonasset Beach State Park, Connecticut. If
you’re in Connecticut, you simply cannot miss
visiting
its longest, biggest beach. This is a beach that sits next to
a large park housing many animals and marine species. Plus, the beach is
completely family-friendly with facilities for cycling, kayaking, fishing and
board-walking.
4
Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. This is one of the few
beaches in the US that is located within city limits. Hence, it is lined with
shops selling curios and essentials, street side eateries and restaurants, and
even amusement parks. The actual beach itself is pretty with beige sand and
extremely clean seawater – this beach always makes it to the list of the
cleanest beaches in America.
5
Tybee Island, Georgia. This is actually a barrier
reef island with powdery, soft sand that is great for a run or bike rides.
Plus, you can go here from May to October when nesting turtles come here in
hordes to lay eggs. You cannot get too close – there will always be a local to
stop you from disturbing the turtles – but you can watch the creatures ambling
about to your heart’s content.
