What are volunteer programs?

Volunteering programs nowadays are gaining recognition, thanks to the progress seen after the implementation of major ones, such as Volunteer Sri Lanka and Volunteer Vietnam. The roots of the original cause, i.e. making world a better place to live in, is spreading internationally and is uprooting so called major initiatives started by the government.

As understandable by the name, the people who voluntarily opt in for them carry out these programs. These are basically for the purpose of enhancing a particular situation residing inside the state, city or country, for example, improve in educational structure of Ghana.

Volunteer Romania Initiative

Volunteer Romania has been jointly planted by the citizens, not for profit organization institution and even the government of Romania, seeing the size of masses. The initiative’s first step was placed in the year of 2007, and since then, the economic conditions and quality of lifestyle in the country is improving rapidly.

The Volunteer Thailand and Volunteer Tanzania programs are backing the country’s initiative. The workers of trio are sent out to either of the countries to provide help from within, in terms of work force and providing useful resources to the country.

Major achievements

Since 2007, following improvements have taken place in the country.

•    Educational Department: The educational rate of Romania has stepped up from 71% to 98.5% for the adults only. The same can be said for elementary and school scholars. As told by the local scholars and foreign exchange based students, the quality of education is better than most of the countries out there. Education levels are rising up shockingly, thanks to the people working for the initiative striving for the same result.

•    Cleanliness and Sanitation: The conditions of cleanliness and sanitation before the commencement of initiative was acceptable (ranked in category C), however, after the implementation, the country falls under the category B. Correspondingly, the lifestyle has shifted to a modern approach.

Other details about the initiative

The plans are drawn from the Volunteer New Zealand initiative, which also was critically acclaimed and applauded, primarily due to the strategy adapted by the natives of New Zealand. Being government a part of the Romanian movement; the expansion is taking place rapidly due to the involvement of larger funding.

Upcoming plans include strict implementation for maintaining environmental standards, upgradation in telecommunication services and public sector and such other larger scale problems.

How to take part in the initiative

Those who wish to take part in the initiative need to visit the local office for enrolment. No fees or charges will be asked for the same. After the process gets completed, you will be listed as a candidate under the Volunteer Romania initiative.

What tasks can you join?

You are free to select the task you want to perform. Just choose any of the list provided to you and the officials will provide rest of the details after the enrolment has successfully taken place. For example, tutoring, coaching, managerial, spreading awareness, encouraging masses and so on.
