The Updates from Google Annual Conference 2016

Are you ready to roll in with Google's annual conference for the developer's academy? As expected, there were few significant announcements which lead to enlightening the next generation technology. In addition to this, Google has announced setting up of new products.

So, it is the perfect time for every professional Android app development company to be vigilant after the Google Annual Conference 2016. If you've missed the important announcements here is the crux of it.

1. Android Wearables

Android wear has dramatically changed. It has been renewed with the new version: Version 2.0. It not only fetches several fantastic new features but dramatically changed itself now. The best out of it is that the applications which are running within the wearables are connected with a smartphone, thus probably making a smart watch extra smarter than before. The fitness function tool inside it will help in recognizing the time of exercise and give health tips regularly. Google considered it to be outdated in this summers. Apart from this, Android Wear will now respond to the messages easier and simpler because Smart Reply and handwriting recognition are provided.

2. Home

Considering to this feature, Google has brought an Assistant built in and voice-recognition technology. Although Google was not comfortable in allowing other robots usage into users life, it has revealed its own version, Home. For instance, you can set alarms, book a cab, play Spotify, etc.

3. Allo and Duo

Google has introduced new “smart” messaging app. It works similarly to several other messaging apps like Google Hangouts, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, etc. Duo is supporting answers to FaceTime or Skype, letting internet video calls. The calling assistance within Allo, can help users ask questions within the chats. This mind boggling features are going to release on both the platforms Android and iOS in summer.

4. Android N

The new Android N can now answer the notification without opening an application. The why do you need a multi-windowing? It will enable you to make notes while watching videos. The new Android N will automatically close the app which has not been updated and offers a "close all" option on the page screen.

5. Virtual Reality

From the last two years, Google has been trying to dive low-end VR with Google Cardboard. Although it also tried to jump beyond the constraints of Cardboard and has moved to develop a clean layout which can be independently shared to the 3rd-parties, along with a clear control of the Siri-powered pointer, Apple.

6. Google Assistant

Google Now responded to voice queries in comparison to Google's Siri and Cortana which appears to be little clunky and impersonal. The best part of Google Assistant is that it is built on over the phone which spans Google’s new messaging app Allo, a new home speaker, Android Auto. In the latest I/O, Google upgraded "Now" to “Google Assistant” which answers to queries by searching Google. The new Google Assistant can book tickets, order food or can do anything you are looking forward.
