To prevent the air loss in case of rubber damage, a tubeless tyre with self-sealing layer was introduced by the company in the year 1948.

The company launched the RSS, the first tyre that comprised of precise tread indentations, a nylon coating for constancy, strength even at high speeds, and an extra reinforcement system developed in Germany in labs.
