The premium corporate gifts

If you are holding a conference or seminar series where guests will be traveling to attend, it is a nice touch to have corporate gift baskets waiting for them upon arrival. If you are making hotel arrangements for your guests, then you may be able to arrange for the hotel staff to place these baskets inside their rooms before they check in. You might also use them as door gifts when they walk into the conference or seminar.

If you cannot afford to purchase premium corporate gifts for everyone in attendance, make a few up and use them as some type of prize that can be won. This adds fun to an event that might otherwise be dry and boring.

Start by selecting the baskets that you would like to fill. Keep in mind that corporate gifts come in all shapes and sizes, but most are rather small in size. Think of candles, USB drives, and key chains. There are also many larger sized gifts that may be added, such as blankets, jackets, clothing items, and even coolers or mini refrigerators. You want to select a basket that is reasonable size to hold a variety of corporate gifts, but not so large that you would have to spend a lot of money to fill it up.

Once you know what you want to fill up, start shopping for corporate gifts to go in the baskets. You may make them all the same and order in bulk, or you might order select items for different baskets according to how much you want to spend on each person. If you are giving the gifts out as door prizes or awards, it is a good idea to have some variation between the gift baskets.

You can place some items in the basket that are not branded for your businesses, but if you use corporate gifts with your logo, you get some promotional value out of the gift while showing appreciation to your recipients. You can create overflowing baskets that are impressive and eye-grabbing, but which also do some legwork to promote your company.

Once you have items to fill your baskets, put some type of shredded paper or tissue paper along the bottom and load it up in an attractive, orderly manner. Cover the entire basket with cellophane, and then tie it off at the top with a large ribbon.

If you are preparing these baskets for specific guests at your conference or seminar, you might want to include a personalized item or just a large card with their name. You can place this inside the basket in a way that will show through when they look at the baskets. This will show that you did not put together a basket for anyone at random, but created that basket specifically for them.

You may also consider adding something edible either in the basket or alongside the basket. Chocolates or an assortment of nuts and dried fruit will give them something to munch on in their hotel rooms, all while thinking of your business.
