The Power In The Name of Jesus The Christ

"And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow; of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father"(Philippians 2:9-11)

Friend, you need an invisible powerful spirit being that would help you through life. For whether you know it or not or whether you agree with it or not every living man or woman is involved in a fight! For the scriptures declare that 'we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places' (Ephesians 6:12). Your ignorance of this matter may only make you a casualty of war! For again the scriptures say, and I quote: ".........Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time (Revelation 12:12b)(KJV).
The devil is waging war against the sons and daughters of men since he desires to take as many as possible with him to hell. Human intellect alone cannot withstand the deceitful wiles of the devil; a creature that has been on the planet for thousands of years. You are less than 150 years here in the same planet. But the good news is that God has given you the victory over this  wicked being, if only you would believe it.

In the biblical text above; Jesus by his death and resurrection defeated the devil. While the devil thought he was destroying the Lord Jesus for good by nailing him to the cross; he never knew that he was unwittingly finalizing his own spiritual Waterloo. Jesus defeated death and took the keys of hell and death from Satan the devil (Revelation 1:18). Now on this planet, only those who believe in the risen Saviour Jesus the Christ can make mince meat of the devil and his cohorts. For God has highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name! The name of Jesus the Christ means freedom both in all the spiritual realms of the world and in the physical. His name carries the authority and the power in him. You cannot call upon the name of Jesus and not be free from demonic or Satanic oppression. The biblical text above makes us to understand that there are things in heaven (the invisible realm), there are things under the earth, just as there are things on the earth! That's quite revealing. But all these things bow at the mention of the name of Jesus the Christ.
Friend, evil don't just befall people, they're the handiwork of devils or demons. Sicknesses don't just happen, the enemy is behind them! The word of the Lord that you are reading now is light sent to you to make you receive illumination and to know the absolute truth. All who come into the kingdom of Christ Jesus can no longer remain under the grip of Satan because they have the authority of the Great King Jesus working for them in his name! Right from the days of Herod, many kings have tried to stamp out that name but all to no avail. That name is a great tower, a place where the righteous run into and find safety. While men sleep, the enemy is constantly preying on them to catch them in his net and destroy them. But all who trust in the name cannot be caught by him. Some trust in Chariots and horses and guns and missiles but we will trust in the name of the Lord. For while those ones fall flat on their faces like the biblical Goliath, we rise and stand upright! Halleluyah!
