Filipino Mr. Universe two time runner-up winner died at the age of 56 on July
16, 2012 in Shanghai China

“Sammy” Ayochok the Philippines real Atlas and two time runner-up winner for
Mr. Universe died of heart attack in Shanghai China on July 16, 2012. Ayochok,
put the Philippines on the world map in SEA Games for winning the gold medal
and five consecutive Asian Bodybuilding Championship games. The pride of
Cordillera known as “Igorot Hercules” was born on March 24, 1956 in Bontoc,
Mountain Province. Ayochok was the senior club operations consultant of Megafit
China Inc. at the time of his death. The Baguio City Government recognized
Sammy Ayochok as top local athletes of the 20th century together
with other Cordilleran Olympian athletes Hector Beggeo and Gerry Diño.
