The Most Common Pregnancy Symptoms – All that you need to know about Conception

by Pranab Bhandari Content marketing Manager

The early pregnancy symptoms might be different for each woman. In the first month of pregnancy, you may notice immediate changes in your body, or you may not notice anything at all. A missing period, an increased urge to pee, swollen and sore breasts, tiredness, and morning sickness are signs of early pregnancy.

During what period may I get a pregnancy test?

It's recommended to wait until you've missed your period before taking a home pregnancy test since the hCG hormone takes time to build up in your body. Even if you are pregnant, the test may appear negative before this stage.

What are the five most prevalent pregnancy symptoms?

You may notice a variety of early pregnancy symptoms. In some instances, women may not experience any of these symptoms. Throughout a pregnancy, the symptoms experienced by a woman might vary considerably from one woman to the next. Because of this, you should avoid comparing your pregnancy with that of someone else.

Pregnancy symptoms that are common at this stage include:

  • When a woman misses her period, she's most likely pregnant. Your body creates hormones that prevent ovulation and the loss of the uterine lining after conception. In other words, your period has come to an end, and you won't have another one until after the birth of your child. However, the absence of your period is not necessarily indicative of pregnancy. Stress, heavy exercise, diets, hormonal imbalances, and other reasons might potentially cause you to miss your period.

  • You may realize that you need to go to the toilet more often before missing a period. You're experiencing this because you've gained a lot of blood—the amount of blood flowing through your body increases during pregnancy. Your kidneys eliminate the additional waste from your blood by filtering it. As you urinate, this waste is expelled from your body. Your need to pee will increase in direct proportion to the blood volume in your body.

  • Many expectant mothers report feeling exhausted throughout their first trimester of pregnancy. Progesterone is the hormone that causes this symptom of pregnancy. In the second trimester, tiredness starts to improve with other early pregnancy symptoms. Many women, however, experience it again during the third trimester.

  • Pregnancy morning (and noon, and night) nausea may occur at any time of day or night, despite its name. As early as two weeks into a pregnancy, sickness may begin to affect a woman, but it can also strike months or even years later, following conception. There are many degrees of nausea, and not everyone gets them. This varies from woman to woman, but it is possible to feel sick without throwing up.
  • Pregnancy-induced vomiting affects around half of all expectant mothers. Even though morning sickness is common throughout pregnancy, it might be exacerbated if you don't drink enough fluids. Hyperemesis gravidarum is a disorder that affects pregnant women who cannot hold down food or drinks due to severe nausea. If you're feeling very nauseous or thirsty, you should see a doctor right away.

  • Tender (and growing) breasts: Pregnant women's breasts may become sore and expand. Breast discomfort before a period may be like this, but worse. Nipples may also darken and grow in size. This discomfort is just temporary, and it will go away as your body adjusts to the higher levels of hormones. As a result, you may realize that your breasts have become more prominent, and your bra is a snugger.

  • A preconception visit with your healthcare practitioner is a beautiful place to begin planning a pregnancy. If you have diabetes, hypertension, lupus, or any other medical problem, you should schedule a preconception visit even if you don't think you need one.
