Use of Lineman tools

To understand the use of lineman tools, we have to understand the work of lineman. A lineman is a tradesman who maintains and constructs the different lines such as telecommunication lines, electric power transmission lines, and distribution lines.

The common lineman tools are:

                 Amber lights

                 Bolt cutters

                 Cable cutters

                 Anchor tools

Linemen, who deal with electric cables and apparatus, use rubber gloves, rubber sleeves, protective blankets, bucket liners, and personal protective equipment. Linemen must use protection when they work with energized power lines to eliminate any contact with the electric lines. Lineman rubber gloves help to protect their hands from the electric current as we all know rubber is the conductor of electricity. These gloves are known as the works of a hot rod for using high voltage hotline equipment or power cables that can be controlled remotely by safe. When working with a live wire, wear special rubber isolation gear to avoid accidental contact with the wire linemen.

Overall, it is safe to say that it is very important to take precautions to avoid damage to the workplace, for which they have a lot of equipment available and they are always suggested to use them.
