This custom is followed in Germany, where the bride and groom are supposed to do the wood cutting before the cake cutting. The friends and family of the coupe organise for the log and saw. As per their beliefs, this indicates the togetherness of of the couple even during the toughest of times.

2.      Dance if you have money

The people of Poland practice an extremely interesting ritual, that can make the bride richer. As per the tradition, people will have to pay money to dance with the bride during the wedding party. And the most exciting part is that, the entire money goes for the couple’s honeymoon trip. This one should be practiced all over the world, so that we all can have a happy honeymoon.

3.      The kidnapping ceremony

In Romania, kidnapping the bride before the ceremony is a part of their tradition. The friend or family of the bride kidnaps her before the wedding and asks for ransom. The groom will have to find his bride and get her to the wedding. He can use the power of either money or his charming romantic skills to bring her back.

4.      The bowl of stones

Australian people practice a very lovely ritual during their wedding to showcase the affection of their loved ones. The guests who attend the wedding will be given a stone at the beginning of the rituals and they will hold it until it all finishes. Once the wedding is over, they put those stones in a large decorated bowl called the unity bowl. The bowl will be kept in the couple’s house all through their life, just to remind them about the love of the people who participated in their wedding.

5.      The Korean way of gifting

During the old days, the Korean groom used to gift his mother-in-law geese or duck as a symbol of his loyalty towards her daughter. Following the tradition, the modern generation present geese made of wood to show their love and faith to the partner.
