The idea for creating "Enjoy Life" Tee Shirt came about because of all the terrible things that have been going on lately between the pandemic, global warming, hurricanes, floods, and most recently tornadoes, I wanted to design a tee-shirt with the reminder to enjoy life while we are here, no matter what. The image is my cousin Larry and his wife looking pretty saucy, savvy, and sassy with red being the dominant color to express energy and a fighting spirit.

"Enjoy Life" Tee Shirt was developed in 1 week, all the pieces fell together almost immediately. Browsing on my friends and family's Instagram feed, I found this image of my cousin and his beautiful, creative wife Ruth, taken about 25 years ago! Two children and 5 grandchildren later, Larry and Ruth are enjoying retired life in Kansas. Larry posts photos of nature and neighbors and Ruth is an artist who shows regularly in and around their hometown. I developed this image and text as a solo effort. All the merch from this company is developed, designed, and curated by me. This tee and the series of other tees that will be released in the coming months reveal the multi-dimensional creativity of my interests.

The "Enjoy Life" Tee Shirt almost didn't see the light of day. When the pandemic hit, my frustrations over the lack of performance opportunities peaked and depression set in. Luckily, new ideas and new horizons began to emerge and become a reality. The pandemic crisis was overcome by creativity and research into alternative methods of raising capital and creative fulfillment.

Sarah James Jazz Merch has done something different compared to other businesses in the Fashion and Lifestyle space. Focusing on unique and original photos and text, I decided to do something different with the launch by expanding the creative possibilities of the print-on-demand business model. I have partnered with three different print-on-demand organizations, each featuring different design options. In the coming months, I will be highlighting my new products and some of the designs I've already completed.

"Enjoy Life" Tee Shirt will be released as part of Sarah James Jazz Merch's greater plans. My ultimate plans are to feature more photos, artwork, poetry, and fashionable gear, with uplifting images, and musical messages on items that everyone uses on a daily basis. Creative, fun, and functional personal and household goods. The company plans on releasing new products seasonally and for special holidays.

Sarah James Jazz Merch got its start when I noticed a growing need for unique statements, quotes that supported independence, wit, and interesting images on 100% cotton garments that are easy to wash, easy to care for, and Made In the USA. I have been taking photos and writing poetry for a lifetime. With little prior experience in the Fashion and Lifestyle world, I decided to go ahead and start designing merch in 2020 thanks to the pandemic.
