The empowered women of today!

Womankind, a global women's rights organisation released a surprising fact about women's global average wage-gap. It was astonishing to see that the max average that a woman earns is about 75% of men's wages. Equality needs begin from economic independence and giving women professionals their due for equal work as men, which is step one for society's long-term goal for eradicating gender discrimination. This Women's Day, let's all be the strength of our women, in her fight for freedom.

Belgium, Denmark, France, Latvia, Luxembourg or Sweden are the only countries that have incorporated equal work laws for all genders. In an index that measured 8 indicators that influence women's economic decisions- from freedom of movement and employment to entrepreneurship and pension- only these countries scored the highest in gender equality. Isn't it time that we learnt from them and empowered our women to fight for their freedom too?

Women's Forum  came with a shocking fact in 2018 that over 50 million women are still uneducated and unemployed. How can we, as a society, aim to progress and flourish if women aren't given the same space of expression and contribution as men? It's time we clear the space for them to own their lives and their bodies, and be their strength to fight and be free.

Breaking the Stigma!

The monthly period that takes upon an average of 5-7 days, cumulatively takes up between 4 to 10 years of a woman's life. And that includes PMS (Premenstrual Syndrome), and many other menstruation-related diseases like Premenstrual Dysphonic Disorder (PMDD). Caring for her health and freeing her from the stigmas surrounding her intimate healthcare is a priority we can't miss out on, as a society. Her freedom to fight her health issues is her right.

Education is not just a basic need; it's also what saves a girl child's whole life and future from exploitation and discrimination. And that is why completing a girl's education is imperative when it comes to her future, especially in terms of her marriage and independence. Educate your girl to make her free from the vices of Exploitation and Stigma. Educate your girl, to help her Fight.

Intelligence has no Gender!

Marilyn Vos Savant (American Author, Columnist, Lecturer and Playwright; IQ score: 228) and Judit Polgar (Hungarian Chess Grandmaster; IQ score: 170) were recorded in history as women among the highest IQ score holders alongside Stephen Hawking and Albert Einstein. For when women fight the world with intellect and strength, they always prove to be nothing less than the best.

Educating to empower!

A 2011 UNICEF analysis of education and future earning capacity of a girl child clearly voiced out how important education is, for a woman to be independent and be free in her own right. Because when a woman is free, she fights stronger.
