In certain cases there is a cast or a mold made of the patient’s teeth, which is required for creating an exact replica.

Other options

There are other options in dental prosthetics that are found in a dental cabinet in a dentist’s office. This refers to crowns or veneers. They are materials that cap or cover the existing teeth. They are used to make a uniform appearance to the teeth when parts are chipped or broken. However, if there is tooth decay or there is evidence of gum disease, then these options are not suitable.
