The difference between watches from Denmark and other watches

The first time I ever visited Denmark there were so many things that were running through my mind. First, there was the worry about the kind of people the Danes were; I often wondered if they were as friendly, as artistic or as welcoming as I have been told. When I went to Denmark, I was pleased with what I saw. The life of the people was actually very simple and quite welcoming. The one thing that intrigued me was the tradition of the watches from Denmark that I came across.

As a person who has quite a lot of interest in watches, I was keen on finding out whether the watches from Denmark were half as good as people have praised them to be. I therefore made it a point to purchase a watch as soon as I arrived in Denmark. Since my expectations were high, I was definitely sure that I would be disappointed by what I bought. As it turned out, the watches from Denmark are not like the rest of the timepieces around the world. They are quite unique, extremely traditional and very efficient in their ability to function.

I decided to take a closer look at some of these watches from Denmark from Uniwatches (in Danish ure Danmark Uniwatches) just to be sure that they all had a similar standard. I made my way down to one of the local shops that dealt with watches. There were two different sections in this shop; there was a section for watches from Denmark and there was a section for all other watches. When I asked the owner of the shop about this, he very told me that experts in the watch manufacturing business knew that these watches that were made in Denmark had a specific threshold of quality. The rest of the watches from around the world did not exactly have a threshold therefore could be put together in their own category.

As I tried to verify this by looking at and comparing the watches from the Denmark section to those from the other section, I realized that indeed there was quite a lot of difference between the two sections. Those from Denmark had a specific marking to show that they were from Denmark while all the others either had or did not have markings to show where they were exactly from. I also noticed that the designs of the watches from Denmark were quite prominent and very depictive of the artistic nature of the Danes.

While I took my time trying to identify what exactly made these watches from Denmark special, unique and stand out from the rest, something strange crossed my mind. I decided to buy two watches that were made around the same time. I bought one from the Denmark section and another from the other section. A few months later, the one from the other section started getting problems and eventually stopped working. Several months down the road I am still wearing the one from the Denmark section and it works perfectly well.
