The best tools for SEO experts
by Maria Pettersson Professional marketer There is a bunch of good tools that SEO experts use every day to make their tasks easier, but not everyone knows what tools that are available so I thought I'd create and article with my favourite tools.Majestic
I use Majestic to find out the Trust Flow and the Citation Flow of a website. The Trust Flow is pretty much a rating of how strong and trusted the websites that link to you are.
The Citation Flow is basically a rating of the volume of mentions on the web and links pointing to your site.
Ahrefs
Ahrefs is pretty much the same as Majestic, however it does have a wider range of tools at your disposal. You can see what pages rank for what keywords, see keyword volume in new markets you would like to enter and much more. One of the best services for online marketers at this point.
Moz
I'm not a big fan of the Moz tools, however they have great articles, case studies and a very updated forum with almost any question you can think of. I myself use Majestic and Ahrefs daily but Moz maybe once a month.
Link Research Tools
Link Research Tools have A LOT of tools you can use. My favourite is the link detox tool. It will help you identify toxic links pointing to your website and you can disavow then in Google
Semrush
Semrush is one of my all time favs. It's pretty much a tools for seing everything about a site, more or less. You add the domain, choose what market you want to see and shazam, you have it. Monthly visitors, amounts of links pointing to a site, organic trafic vs paid trafic. Well as I said pretty much everything.
Those were my 5 favourite tools I use on a monthly basis. Please let me know if you have any further tools I should know about!
Best
