Researching the Best Options

If you are interested in applying to one of the top private high schools in New York City, you must keep a few points in mind. First and foremost, the admission process is stressful, tedious and time-consuming. With such a limited number of available slots (regardless of the selected school), it is very difficult for any new student to “make the cut.”

The key is to make sure that you research all the required criteria and provide as much documentation when applying as possible to ensure that the admissions officers and corresponding board members (if applicable) have everything they need to make a decision about your child.

In addition, you should never place all of your “eggs” in one basket. You and your child may have your hearts set on one particular private high school. However, being open to any of the top-rated private high schools on this list will increase your chances of getting accepted into one of them.
