Some of the carriers ask for the double opt-in form from the receiver.  Likewise opting out is simple for the receiver of the text. When the receiver requests to cancel the text messages, all they have to do is reply to the message the word STOP via text. All these regulations have been put in place by the Text Message Marketing Association consumer best practice guidelines.  Moreover, all advertisers who desire to deliver text message marketing in America must follow these rules.

Text message marketing sticks to a safe marketing approach, as it is customer opted. It is very personal and if used incorrectly it could have adverse effects on a business.
