Testing mobile applications on moving parts of mobile devices.

mobile application            Publishing mobile applications in the app store before testing them is like eating any food you find anywhere without tasting it to consider whether it is still fresh or not. The eyes can do that job for you but not in all cases. Since rotten food can cause harm to your body and even death, the same is true for publishing mobile applications without testing them. They can cause harm to you in the sense that you will not get any return on your investments since people will not continue using your mobile application once they come across a major flaw. It might even kill not you, but your reputation and your business. Visit here for additional info.

There are various things you need to consider when testing a mobile application and some of them include the type of mobile application you developed, the type of testing you will use and the moving parts of the mobile application. This article will focus on testing as you consider the moving parts in a mobile device.

mobile application            One of the biggest challenges in the testing process is the number of mobile devices that are in the market today. A company like Samsung releases a new device every six months. Taking an example of the Galaxy S family, 2 versions of the Galaxy S smart phone are normally released within a year. In 2013, Galaxy S4 was released and a few months later, Galaxy S4 mini was released. Apple also releases new smart phones frequently. Since each of these devices may have different hardware specifications, it is a big challenge to test your mobile application on each of these devices. Instead of trying to test on each and every device, which is impossible, test on the devices that are commonly used by your target audience.

Test your app to see how much data is consumed since consumers do not appreciate data draining apps. It will be deleted immediately this is discovered. Make sure that the resources that are being used on your mobile application are absolutely necessary since a lot of battery power is consumed if the resources used are many.

Another important thing to consider is the processing power used by your mobile application. There are apps that are excused for this, such as games, but others are not. Make sure the processing power required is justified. If the processing power required is too much and it happens to make the device crash, you can be sure no one will purchase anything with your name or your company’s name on it.

Another thing that consumers are really sensitive about is the space in their mobile devices. No one likes to get the ‘memory low’ notification all the time so make sure that the total capacity of your mobile application is not too big.

The GUI should be simple and familiar to the user. If you frustrate them by not giving them an easy way to navigate your mobile application, then be sure that the application will not be operating on the device the next day. It may even be uninstalled with immediate effect. The controls and screen resolution should also be remembered.
