Teenager’s Code

by William D. Religion

In every continents here on earth, we are abided to follow the country’s rules, regulations, customs and traditions and laws. These things were issued in every respectable supreme courts because in order to shape and mold our rights and duty as a citizen of the country you belong. People nowadays became wicked, especially teenagers.

In able to stabilize our teenager’s centric rights and responsibilities, a citizen of Dallas, Texas wrote about Code of Ethics for Teenagers. When Virginia Chose submitted her ten commandments, the cheerful author says, “in every teenager would follow these simple rules, the world would be a safer place to live in”.

The author has the highest hopes of changing our youths today because nowadays, there were many teenagers are suspected for stealing, killing, using drugs and so much immoral acts that they are under juvenile justice law. It wasn’t the law that saved them, but they are under a social welfare custody or the others put into prison.

It costs lifetime to rebuild their psychological trauma into place, that’s why the author written the ethic code for teenagers in order to remind them their duties and responsibility as a full grow-up teenager.

Here are the following Ten Commandments (ethic code for teenagers) in order for the teenagers to inculcate in their minds their responsibilities and duties as a teenager of this generation:

1. don’t let your parents down. They brought you up;
2. Stop and think before you drink;
3. Ditch dirty thoughts fast, or they’ll ditch you;
4. Show off driving is juvenile. Don’t act your age;
5. Be smart, obey. You will give orders yourself, someday;
6. Choose your friends carefully. You are what they are;
7. Choose a date for a mate;
8. Don’t go steady unless you are ready;
9. Go to church regularly. God gives you a week. Give him back an hour or two; and,
10. Live carefully, the soul you save may be your own.

It was stipulated in these commandments that you must think before doing things. You must seek an elderly advice in order to check up the things that you’re doing.

Also, it was stipulated that you must give time to God because He gave you a week to do anything, do one favor in return which is to attend church service for him. There you will be blessed, give your tithes and offerings to give back all of his blessings, to praise and glorify him, and the most of all, to accept him as you personal savior. In the book of first Timothy chapter four verse twelve says, “Let no one despise thy youth, but be thou an example of the believer in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith in purity”.

God wants you to be a good example to the society as a growing Christian in every act that you do. He will not forsaken nor leave you, but He will help you to guide and mold you in the right path that God wants you.
