=======================

Meeting with old friends on the weekend and chatting for a long time, two young people in their twenties actually spent a long time on the topic of "regret".

She said that it was a pity that she did not choose World War II when she failed the postgraduate entrance examination. Now every time she goes to work on the bus, she will pass the school, in twos and threes, talking and laughing students come in and out of the school, she always can't bear to watch. It feels like, because I am not good enough, I can only watch the boy I like holding other girls.

I encourage her, it is not too late to go to the postgraduate entrance examination, you can try again.

She sighed and said that she was too young to be too young.

After returning home, I have been thinking, how old is it to be too late?

On a trip a few years ago, I met four old men at the front desk of a hotel in Nepal.

From the sign language exchanges between them, it can be seen that they are deaf and mute. They have no tour guides, no relatives to accompany them, and do not even understand English.

While communicating with the front desk, the old man in the lead took out a notebook and drew two simple houses on the notebook. Each house had two beds. The brother at the front desk immediately understood and opened two double rooms for them. .

I was standing on the side at the time. I wanted to help, but I didn't seem to need it at all.

After dinner, when I was sitting on a bench on the balcony to cool off, I found that one of the old men was leaning on a table next to writing. I sat a little bit cheeky and wanted to take a look at what he wrote.

He found out. He was not angry, but slowly closed the notebook, smiled kindly at me, then took out the portable notebook, wrote a sentence and handed it over, "Are you also Chinese?"

I took the notebook and wrote "Yes, I admire you."

Then, the old man and I communicated with barrier-free text as if facing a paper version of a chat dialog.

I learned from the exchanges that the four of them are retirees, and the four of them are good friends. They don’t know anything about English. They are all deaf and mute. They want to go abroad while their legs and feet are still handy, so they chose Nepal. This is a nearby country with low consumption.

They went all the way to Medog, Tibet, where there is no road, and to the foot of the snowy Mount Everest.

When he wrote about Mount Everest, he proudly took out his camera to show me the four of them taking a group photo at the foot of Mount Everest. They smiled very brightly, and the old man was compared with scissors hands.

Later, I met them in an elephant park by chance. There is an interactive project in the elephant park. Visitors sit on the elephant’s back and play with the elephant. The elephant will suck the water into its nose. Then it sprayed on the passengers on the back, which was very exciting and fun, but I was afraid of water and dirt, so I didn't play.

Unexpectedly, two of the four deaf-mute grandfathers actually went to play this exciting project. They were all wet and happily asked the grandpa on the shore to help take pictures. At that moment, I felt that they had no relationship with the healthy elderly. Any difference, even healthier and younger than them, so cute.

How old do people live before it is too late? It's not 30 or 40, nor 70 or 80, as long as you want, you can be as old as you want.
