Symbiosis Undergraduate Entrance Test

The Symbiosis Entrance Test is a common written test which is conducted by Symbiosis International University to invite admission in various undergraduate programs like health sciences, law, engineering and other courses. The test is organized every year nationally. The University was established by the Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria:

There is many courses conducted by Symbiosis International University and the eligibility criteria for each course are different. However the general criteria for health sciences, law, engineering and other courses are

•        Candidates must have passed in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics.
  
•         Candidates must have secured at least 50%, (45% for SC/ST category) in their 10+2 examination.
  

Application Process:

The candidates can apply for the Symbiosis Entrance Test on the official website of Symbioses. The application can be filled through online mode only. There is no provision for offline mode. The candidates can follow the instruction to apply

• Register yourself on the official website 
  
• Fill the application form with the details as given.
  
• Upload the latest scanned photograph in required format and size.
  
• Pay the application Fee of Rs.1500  through Credit Card/ Net Banking/ Cash or Demand Draft

Admit Card:

The admit card will be available to download for the candidates who have successfully submitted the application form. The candidate can download the hall ticket via official website of Symbiosis. An admit card is an important document, the candidates are advised to keep at least two printout of the admit card. A candidate needs to carry an admit card along with one valid photo id proof at the test center at the time of test. The entry of the candidate could be restricted at the test center without the admit card.

Exam Pattern:

The SET is organized in two sessions which consist of objective type question with the duration of 150 minutes. The morning session will consists of two question papers (Law and Design) and afternoon session will consist three question papers (General, Engineering, Health sciences).

 The score of written test is used for admission. SET is objective type test where four options will be available to the candidates from whom the candidates have to tick the right one, there is no negative marking for wrong answers, and each question is mandatory.

Result and Selection Criteria:

The result of the Symbiosis Entrance Test will be out on the official website. The candidates appear in the exam can check their result online. The scores of the written test will be used for admission. Every course has its own cut off marks. The shortlisted candidates will be call for further selection process.
