Tongass National Forest: Tongass National Forest is located on the southeast of Alaska; it is one of the largest rainforest covering almost 16.9 million acres of the land. The forest is mostly dominated by sita spruce, western red cedar, and western hemlock. This national forest accounts for more than one-third of the temperate rainforest left on earth. The forest is home to animals ranging from otters, seals, wolves, bears, moose, etc.

Hoh Rainforest: Hoh Rainforest is located on the Pacific Northwest along the western edge of the Olympic National Park. Olympic National Park: Olympic National Park is home to rock beaches, flower-filled meadows, subalpine forest, and beautiful coastlines. The forest is a protected wilderness, the largest in the state, and is most notable for its old-growth trees which are home to unique flora and fauna like Roosevelt elks. This national park is a temperate forest and sheets of mosses, ferns, and other epiphytes species are grown. It is also one of the best places for hiking and camping.
