Details of the SSC Stenographer Exam 2016

The Stenographer exam is an all India level examination which is conducted by SSC for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade “C” and Grade “D”. Candidates who have qualified their 12th Standard from a recognized Board or College are eligible to fill the SSC Stenographer Application form 2016.

The Examination will includes a Written Objective Type Examination and a Skill Test in Stenography at 100 w.p.m. for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and, 80 w.p.m. for Stenographer Grade ‘D’. Since, this will require skills of Stenography, only candidates with such skills are advised to apply for it. Getting through the Skill test is compulsory for the posts advertised. Procedure to fill the SSC Stenographer Application Form 2016

The candidates should follow the following instructions to correctly fill the SSC Stenographer Application form 2016 which is due to be released in the month of July/August 2016:

The candidates must visit the official website of SSC to apply online. The website is www.ssc.online.nic.in

The SSC Stenographer Application Form 2016 will consist of two parts namely PART-I and PART-II Registration and it is necessary to fill up both the parts.

In Part I registration, the candidates will have to fill in their basic information.

This part will include the candidate’s personal details, educational qualification and other such general information.

Once the details are filled in, the candidates will have to click on ‘Submit’, which will be the command to submit the information filled in.

On submission of details, the candidates will be prompted to check the details and make any correction in the application if required.

Then the candidates will need to click on “I agree” button after reading the declaration to complete SSC Stenographer Application Form.

Some important details of the SSC Stenographer Application form 2016

Applying online is considered to be the best option because it lessens the chance of discrepancy and misplacement of documents, forms and admit cards. In case of SSC Stenographer 2016 online registration, the admit cards will be available for download.

The candidates must keep the registration numbers issued to them by the Commission.

Multiple applications shall not be entertained and in any such cases, only the completely filled SSC Stenographer Application Form shall be considered as the final submission.

Only candidates who have successfully submitted the completely filled application form will be issued their Admit cards.
