SSC CGL 2015 Result for Tier-1 Exam
The Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC CGL Exam to recruit candidates for various posts in the different departments in the Government of India and subordinate offices. The SSC CGL 2015 Tier-I exam was conducted on 9th & 16th August 2015. The candidates who wrote the exam now eagerly await the SSC CGL 2015 Result. The examination was conducted for Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ posts for the various ministries of the Government. The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC CGL Result 2015 online. SSC will publish the SSC CGL 2015 Result for Tier-1 Exam on the official SSC website. The candidates must clear the Tier-I Exam in order to qualify for the Tier-II Exam. There has been no official notice by the SSC stating the date for the release of the SSC CGL Tier-1 Result 2015 but the results are expected to be published soon. There was also a Re-Exam held for the candidates on 30th August 2015.

- The first step is to visit the official website of the SSC.
- Click on the link indicating ‘SSC CGL Result 2015 for Tier-1 Exam’.
- You will now be asked to enter your roll number and other details.
- Makes sure you check the details you have entered before clicking on ‘submit’.
- Once you submit the details you will be able to view the result.
- You can type your roll number in the search box to check if your roll number is on the result list.

- The SSC CGL Exam is one of the most prestigious exams as it directly recruits candidates for the central government.
- The candidates who clear the cut off for the Tier-I Exam will qualify to write the Tier-II Exam.
- List of shortlisted candidates will be released under CGL Tier 1 Result, list will also contains the roll number of the selected candidates.
- The cut off for the Tier-I Exam will be decided by the commission. The candidates need to adhere to the cut off decided by them.
- There will be a relaxation in the cut off marks for candidates belonging to the reserved categories which will also be decided by the Commission.
- The Tier-II Exam will consist of questions based on Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension.
- Once the candidates have cleared the Tier-II Exam with the required marks they will qualify for the Interview round or Skill Test.
- There will also be DEST and CPT (Computer Proficiency Test) for candidates who clear the Tier-II Exam.
- There will be separate cut off marks for CPT and DEST. However the final selection will not be based on these marks.
- The Final selection varies according the posts. However the common structure for the interview based posts involves the Tier-I Exam, Tier-II Exam (both Paper I & Paper II) and the interview marks. The candidates will be judged on their performance in all three levels.
- For the Statistical Investigator Post the final selection of the candidates is based on the Tier I Exam, Tier-II Exam which includes Paper I, II & III and the interview marks.
- The final selection of the candidates for the non interview posts is based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the Tier-I and Tier-II Exam which includes both Paper I & II.
