Spend Memorable 2 Days in Singapore

by Shery Williams Travel &Tourism

Singapore had always on my travel bucket list. The South-Asiatic region with having its own set of metropolitan charm and slightly Chinese touch what made me really attracted to the same.

Finally, last month, I got a chance to fulfill my travel desire to Singapore. Although planned for so many months, it was a sudden and unplanned move to explore Singapore. All thanks to the Tripiflights offering of Lufthansa last minute deals that helped me out booking tickets at a discounted price even at the last moment.

Coming back to the exploration of Singapore, I decided to take on the eclectic trip for 2-days only due to having few professional commitments. Here, I will describe what constituted of those 2 days in Singapore, which places I visited, and what is best recommended for you as well.

Day 1

My early morning started with a walking tour towards the opulent and amazing Gardens by the Bay. A vibrant area with lush greenery around is simply brilliant to witness the appealing and artistic formation of plants and flowers. The iconic Super tree Grove is the main attraction to click wonderful pictures for the Integral feed. Certainly, my day trip to this place was an ideal decision as the place gets really crowded during the afternoon and evening time.

My next resort was towards the symbolic The Merino which has become the true characteristic of Singapore. The artistic statue having the head of a lion and body of a fish is at the mouth of the Singapore River. The park area has fascinating skyscrapers around that appear perfect scenery for clicking as many pictures you want.

During the nighttime, I could not stop but dropping at the dazzling Clarke Quay. The place is awesome if you are looking for a range of eateries, hotels, and a pleasing waterfront area, then this is the place to drop. During nightlife, the area completely dazzles into bright lighting and lively crowd hovering around. Front side water deck area and small boats having in-house bars inside are the main attractions of the area that sure to catch your attention as well.

Day 2

My 2nd day in Singapore turns out to be all the more amazing when I decided to discover the paths of Marine Bay Sands and Chinatown area.

Started with Marina Bay Sands, the place is huge having an endless level of the sea, a Sky park Deck, a luxury hotel having a casino inside, and wonderful views around. The place has experienced a complete transformation from a normal to a modern-day world. Nearby Gardens by the Bay (which I have already visited), Double Helix Bridge, and a line of street vendors around that picked by attention.

My last yet next best stopover in Singapore was the Chinatown area. Evening visit to the area looking at sparkling red-shaded Chinese lanterns, aromatic smell of delectable Chinese cuisines and major hustle around are something not to miss here. I really liked the small Chinese community having their own set up in Singapore keeping the traditional and spiritual spirit goes alive. I also got a chance to be at Buddha Tooth Relic Temple having an extravagant type of artistic structure and peaceful ambiance inside.

This is all that I discovered in Singapore in a matter of two days only. However, soon I will come here again to cherish the undiscovered places especially the Singapore Zoo, Little India, and the Universal Studios.
