The Somnath Temple also known as shiva temple, somnath mandir, shiv mandir. It located in the Prabhas Patan near the port of Veraval in Saurashtra on the west coast of Gujarat. The Shiva Temple as it stands at present built by the Home Minister of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and dedicated to the nation by the President of India, Shankar Dayal Sharma on December 1, 1995.
