Some basic ways to iron children smocked clothing
Ironing smocked children clothing seems to be an
easy task; however, it is not true that anyone can iron properly. Thus, now I’ll
share some basic ways to iron your children smocked clothing in the right way.
Checking fabric
Before ironing,
you have to check fabric showed on label tag which kinds of fabric are allowed
to iron. The tag on clothing will supply the iron setting that manufacture
suggests. There are some types of fabric no need to iron such as wool. Silk,
nylon, polyester is suitable with low temperature. If you are using a steam
iron, make sure there is the proper amount of water inside.
Start ironing
To start, you stretch the skirt portion of dress across
the point. You should iron bottom first and continue to the top. Iron your way
around the skirt
If the top of the smocked outfit
won't stretch across the point of the ironing board, smooth it as flat as
possible across the large, flat surface of the board.
Remember
to hang your baby smocked clothes immediately after you iron them to avoid wrinkles
Hope
my sharing will be useful!
