IMO answer key will be released soon for both set A and set B by
Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF). The candidates who have appeared for the IMO
exam will only be able to check their answer keys. IMO is known as International
Mathematical Olympiad and is conducted by SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation) to
identify and encourage mathematical creativity of candidate in schools across
India as well as abroad also. The
International Mathematical Olympiad will be held on 5
December and 11th of December 2017. The IMO answer key will be released soon
after the exam is conducted.
When the answer keys will be
released after that the candidates can check and judge their answer with the
provided answer keys. This exam is held for 1 to 12 class students of various
schools situated in India as well as out of India. As per last year oversee,
approximately 27000 schools from more than 1,350 cities registered themselves
and about millions of students appeared in the International Mathematical
Olympiad exam. The IMO answer key
will be released according to the class, so that the students can recheck their

The exam dates for IMO is 5th and 11th of December 2017.

result. IMO is a two level exam the candidate who will successfully clear level
1 then only he/she will be able to apply for the next level i.e. level 2. The
Level 1 exam is an objective type question test which includes 35 objective
type questions for class 1 to 4 and 50 objective type question for class 5 to
12 within the duration of 60 minutes. The IMO level 1 consists of four
sections: Logical reasoning, Mathematical reasoning, Everyday Mathematics and
Achievers section. As, every class has different question paper i.e. IMO answer key will be provided accordingly
to the class. The syllabi that are followed for setting the test papers are
CBSE (Central board of secondary education), ICSE/ISC and state board
respectively. The medium of exam will be English for all the candidates. And
the exam will be conducted during the school hours.
The candidates who will qualify
level 1 will be able to appear in the level 2 round. The level 2 exam is for
class 3 to 12. The candidates who will score in top 25 will be able to appear
in the next level. The top 5% of the class wise candidates who have appeared
and scored in the level 1 exam will be able to appear for the next level. If in
case the candidates have a tie of marks, then in that case due weightage to
scored marks in different sections will be given. As, each section has its
separate weightage. From the class where at least 10 students from a class
appear in the IMO exam and qualify the exam with 50% marks then he/she will be
able to appear for the next level. If the registration is received section wise
then the top rank holder will be qualified irrespective of their section and
will be eligible to appear for the next level i.e. level 2 exam.
