DMAIC stands for:

• D (Define) –

• M (Measure) –

With the help of this methodology, you can measure the performance that can be used to improve the service, process, and the product that you are working on. It’s a very important step as you measure the performance, which should be accurate for the improvement process.

• A (Analyze) -

Six sigma tool helps you to analyze the cause of the problem and check the opportunities to improve the process and quality by reducing the problems that usually occur.

• I (Improve) –

This six sigma tool helps in improving the performance of a process or service or product. It improves the quality of the product or the service, which will satisfy the needs of the product.

• C (Control) –

This is the step which provides stability and controls the improvement that has been made for the service and the product. Control is very important for any business; it helps reduce the problem and issue occurring and increasing the performance.

The methodology mentioned above is a very effective tool, and in the six sigma yellow belt certification, it is known as an improvement method, and the ability to integrate into an organization’s production system. These six sigma methodology leads to the improvement of project or services as a team core member in a more complex project.

Six Sigma comes with a different belt green belt, black belt, yellow belt, white belt. The white belt certificate deals with the basic six sigma concept; it supports change management in the organization. The yellow belt is the level which helps to know how and where to apply the six sigma.

The green belt helps in advance analysis to resolve problems that affect quality. Six sigma in the black belt is the person who is an expert and agent of change. The different belt represents different skills. The certificate can be obtained through a body like the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
