SISTec Startup Meet

“SISTec STARTUP MEET” was organized successfully at Sagar Institute of Science & Technology, Gandhi Nagar Campus, Bhopal by Department of Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology.

SISTec has been one of the best Engineering colleges in Bhopal that has been around for a time of 20 years. 

It gives us immense pleasure in saying that around 200 students from various colleges / institutes of Bhopal also participated in the event (LNCT, LNCTE, OIST, SIRT, TIT, BIRT, NRI, Mittal), representation from SISTec-R and Sagar Public School were also there. Through this, the delegates are enlightened by the experiences of the successful Start Up professionals (CEO / Founders).

The various dignitaries that were invited for sharing their experiences include Mr. Mohit Dubey (Founder, Carwaale.com), Mr. Jatin Choudhary (Co – Founder, E – Chai), Mr. Kshitij Mittal (Co – Founder, Sagar Nutriments Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Anurag Asati (Co – Founder, TheKabadiWala.com), Mr. Ramana TSV (Founder, CodeTantra), Mr. Mohit Prajapati (Founder, OfferLocation.com) and Ms. Marlina Ramachandran (NEN). These dignitaries had shared their experiences and enlightened the delegates. They also explained how one can have his own StartUp, what are the issues that may arise during planning and establishing a StartUp, how to cope with such issues, from where to raise funds, how to make a proposal whenever communicating with a Venture Capitalist, how to operate the StartUp so as to get maximum out of it, etc.

The event was also attended by the faculties as well as the management members of Sagar Group of Institutions. As per honorable Chairman Sir, such events should be conducted at the institute on a frequent basis, so that the students of our institute as well as our city can make the most out of it and can establish their own StartUps. By this, instead of becoming a Job Seeker, they can become Job Providers to others. This will also help in reducing the problem of unemployment in the country. Honorable ED of SGI Mr. Pawan Grover also shared his views and said that he will support and motivate in conducting such events on a regular basis so that our students can have a better exposure about the industry and current scenarios.

Respected Prinicipal of SISTec, GN Dr. Manish Billore also praised the conduction and organization of the event and said that bringing such resource persons to the institute will also give confidence to our students that all successful persons, at some time in their life were students like one of them and it is their strength, confidence and dedication that had differentiated them from others. So, be confident and continuously strive for what you want to achieve. Sometimes, you can achieve what you want with little effort and in less time and, in other cases it might take heavy efforts and longer time period for this, but if you work with dedication some or the other day you will definitely achieve what you want to.
