Shut Up and Listen, first article back!!
Nice way to come back and write your first article in over 90 plus days...With a title of this nature you would think l am trying to send a message. Actually l am not to any of the members, here or what they being up too, cause l have no clue at all.
Have not been very active at all, but back to this article that l am about to write. It is all about why we have two ears and one mouth, which one should we use the most in "Sales or every day life"..
Our "MOM"s" did something for us all in our early years, tried to teach us that interrupting is actually very rude..but it never stopped us from butting in on a conversation, did it? We always assume what she/he is going to say. Why we react this way, harmlessly but killing our reputation with out us even know this...as well as the sale.
Sales is all about one thing, understand the customers needs, wants, desires and most importantly his/her price range. If we are talking more then we should be listening how do we know what direction to take with this sale...Simplicity at it's best, to the point...Shut Up and listen to your client...
You need to develop a mute button within your mind, listen to their needs, agree and encourage them on why their investment is a wise one. Lead them through the sales process one step at a time. When you listen to them it is like having a crystal bowl in from of you.. You know how to handle this sale, when you know their needs, desires and price range..Honestly how can you fail, you will close more deals.
Try it see how it works for you, simple steps that will lead to a higher closing ratio. By the way; do you know your closing ration...just asking...bet you don't...

Thanks Joseph - it is true when you focus on what you can do for others as opposed to what they can do for you, you find success! Yes, I do know my closing ratio and it's disappointing, I'm still learning!
