Should You Buy Web Traffic?

by Amanda Scheer DIgital Marketing Expert

You shouldn't buy web traffic blindly. You may purchase it for your own marketing purposes, and you shouldn't buy web traffic at all. Buying web traffic from the likes of Google AdWords or banner advertising is an unnerving concept to grasp. However, it's a necessary one if you want to earn money online.

Buying web traffic isn't like buying followers. You can't simply buy followers to shove into your marketing funnel. Instead, you need to build a relationship with those who will visit your site. In other words, you have to engage in conversation with visitors before you send them to your sales pitch. If you're unable to do so, you'll never make any sales at all. That's because no matter how wonderful your product or service is, visitors won't buy anything unless you force them to.

To engage in conversation, however, you must first go where your visitors go. This is the only way you can get their attention and convert them to potential customers. The only way to do that is to buy web traffic from websites that are related to their own. For instance, if a visitor is interested in golf, he might go to a website about golf-related products. If that website sells shoes, he might then go to a website selling hiking boots. Thus, buying relevant traffic will help you understand what kinds of products your visitors to buy and how they use the internet.

So, what kinds of products are those? Those that sell via social media platforms are the easiest ones to target. After all, people who use these websites to chat, connect, or share information about their lives are likely to be interested in the latest news, reviews, or tricks of the trade. Thus, if you want to buy web traffic, buy social media traffic instead of generic or SEO-focused traffic because this type of traffic will help to increase the conversion rate on your website. buy website traffic

Image credit should also be bought when purchasing targeted traffic packages. This includes links that direct consumers to an affiliate landing page (also known as a "cut-throat" link exchange) or other types of affiliate marketing networks. As you probably know, most online marketers spend most of their time driving targeted traffic directly to affiliate landing pages, which earn them commission checks. But some time ago, this was the only way for affiliate marketers to earn money.

These days, though, there are many ways to drive targeted website traffic without spending any money at all on expensive pay-per-click campaigns or costly content creation. The most effective way to do this, for example, is to focus on creating quality content. Buy website traffic by targeting low-end keywords for your target market, and then create content that is optimized around these keywords, but that isn't too broad that it doesn't relate to the product or service you're trying to sell.

Buying targeted traffic also makes sense if you're trying to grow your online business. Think about it: would you buy targeted traffic if it helped boost your sales? It would make more sense to buy targeted traffic, right? And if you do so, you'll quickly discover that it can help expand your sales considerably - even dramatically.

Fake traffic is basically just "purchased" traffic, in other words. In other words, you don't have to do any work - you don't even have to know how to create quality content, for one thing - in order to buy a lot of fake traffic. This may sound bad, but it's actually a very wise tactic. Consider this: would you waste your time and effort driving traffic to an unattractive website that doesn't convert, if you could instead buy traffic that's going to be targeted to your exact audience? Chances are, if you had a choice between buying targeted traffic and targeted traffic, you'd choose the latter every time. So why not take advantage of that fact?
