Second Innings for Bollywood Actresses after Marriage

Many actresses have and had given up or started acting again after their marriage. Some of known who gave up after marriage are Neetu Singh, Jaya Bachan and many more. Today the trend has changed and recently married bollywood divas started again. This second innings was recently started by Madhuri Dixit, Raveena Tandon, Sridevi and the list goes on.

Many of these actresses started their carrier with disaster movies but picked speed with time. Still they never thought to give up and today they are known for many reasons. The way they danced, their unique style of acting and their smile. This gesture was highly praised and followed by many women around the world.

The fact is that many gave up acting and adhered to being housewife after their marriages. Some of them again tried coming back and thought to give a second chance. Let’s find out who they are –

- Madhuri Dixit: She got married to an NRI doctor and gave up to film industry just after her marriage. She was snapped after her marriage at some events and award functions. She got limited to this for about 10 years after her marriage. She then started again by doing little acting in TV commercials. Sometime after she also performed in a movie with item dance song. Her style of clothing like anarkali suits she wear in a dance show are applauded worldwide.

- Sridevi: After getting married to film producer, she gave up acting. She better choose to take care of her house and her kids. Sridevi did many movies in her film carrier and received many renowned awards for them. She also followed the trend of Madhuri Dixit and came back with TV commercial. She was then casted by her husband in a movie – “English Vinglish”.

- Aishwarya Rai: She is one of the most beautiful actresses around the world. She was listed among top beautiful divas in the world. She never gave up her movie carrier. And even after her marriage she was working in movies.

- Kajol Devgan: She was better known for her style of dancing and started her carrier with movie – “Behudi”. She took a long break to come back to movie after her marriage with Ajay Devgan. Her second inning started with movie “Fanna”. She took immense care of her clothing in this movie and mostly chooses to wear anarkali salwar kameez.
