Rakesh K Srivastava
(Ph.D., FRSM, FRSPH)

Fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health,

he has held and continues to hold till now and in all the numerous books that
he has edited till date.

Rakesh Srivastava has served as a professor and eminent scientist in major US
Universities. He has been proclaimed as an eminent Scholar by the Kansas
Bioscience Authority. The list of accolades and awards conferred on him
is huge and rightly deserved too as he has been a pioneer in some trailblazing
subjects when it comes to research. He has received national merit awards

so immense and bright as he has actively taught subjects related to Human
Biology, Pharmacology, Principles of Drug Actions, Molecular Cell Biology,
Histology, Biochemistry, Physiology, Zoology, Botany, Horticulture, Physiology,
Cancer Biology, Toxicology, Endocrinology, Genetics, Cancer Therapeutics, and
Anatomy at various high profile institutions and has served in various National
and International committees as well. He has also been an advisor to several
government agencies. He has rigorously done research on Drug discovery and
development, cancer therapy, prevention, diabetes, nutrition, stem cell,

If we look at Dr. Srivastava’s journey, we realize what makes
him into this gigantic inspirational professor and scientist who we all know
today. Dr. Srivastava did his M.Sc. from Memorial University of Newfoundland,
St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. He later pursued a Ph.D. from University of
Guelph, Ontario, Canada. He was awarded a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the
National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD. He subsequently went on to pursue
a prestigious fellowship at the US National Academy of Sciences. After
