School Champs for Climate Action By Sdg FairGaze

by Bhanvi Kumari All in one business management software

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the cornerstones of a sustainable future, which cannot simply be imagined. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations are promoted by the great globalized art project FairgazeSDG, which is launching one of the best national-level SDG Art competitions. Young children and youth are encouraged to take an early interest in social responsibility through the art competition, which also inspires our youth to volunteer and work as a team to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. Participants from all socioeconomic backgrounds are taught various social issues through their creativity, which helps to promote social values.

By including students, teachers, parents, education professionals, and climate experts in substantive conversations on climate concerns and solutions, the "School Champs for Climate Action" program hopes to help achieve Sustainable Goal 13 (Climate Action).

Making thoughtful decisions about your purchases—choices that take into account how something was produced or grown, potential environmental effects, or effects on the people who produced or farmed it—is a key component of being a responsible consumer. Instead of always purchasing new, it's about reducing, recycling, reusing, and rethinking, and it's about questioning if we actually need anything in the first place. By submitting your greatest work of art, you may express your opinion about the SDGs through the drawing competition.

Follow the steps mentioned below for registration:

STEP 1: From November 7 through December 31, 2022, sign up for the "School Champs For Climate Action" campaign at https://sdg.fairgaze.com/one-day-for-climate.html. Make sure to sign up for the UNESCO MGIEP courses on climate change and biodiversity and human health.

STEP 2: Students log in using the special ID and password that FairGaze has provided.

STEP 2: You need to submit a drawing of biodiversity/climate change-related measures that have been or might be performed.

Participants must create a drawing based on the SDG theme. Entries must be outstanding sketches or paintings. Participants are requested to create a piece of art that reflects their perspective on the suggested subjects. This can take place locally or in reference to the universal scope of SDGs. Give it your all in an effort to take first place.

The objectives of this campaign are mentioned as follows:

1.     Boost your creativity while concentrating on long-term objectives.

2.     to improve motor abilities via sketching.

3.     Encourage the school community to become knowledgeable of and supportive of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

4.     Students who are exposed to diverse cultures and experiences outside of their own are more compassionate and sensitive.

5.     Enhance pupils' analytical abilities and motivate them to take action to combat climate change.

Information on the Campaign

This drawing competition is open to all students in India who are enrolled in grades 1 through 12 at schools in all regions. This SDG FairGaze School Champs for Climate Action competition will be held online. For all pupils, the competition is FREE. So, without any difficulty, anyone who is interested may take an art class.

Final words

Children will learn from the competition why accomplishing this objective is crucial for the advancement of equality, education, health, and global economic and social growth. Children are also taught how they might help attain this objective by making adjustments to their own lifestyles. Making sustainable biodiverse choices is part of this. SDG also teaches young students how to make decisions that take their needs into account in order to raise everyone's socioeconomic standards of living.
