SMP is the fastest growing sector of hair loss remedies worldwide, and the market here in Australia is largely untapped. Aaron entered the industry in 2009 and introduced SMP to Australia with the launch of Hairline Solutions on the Gold Coast in March 2011, and has personally completed in excess of 1,300 SMP treatments as well as trained literally dozens of successful practitioners nationally.

The Hairline Solutions SMP Training Academy Master Class is the most extensive and comprehensive course in Australia, backed up by an unrivalled continual development program where Aaron and Jana are at hand to answer any questions and provide guidance as required.

You will receive an extensive package of learning materials which includes a Q & A section for your reference when dealing with inquiries following completion.

During the SMP training courses, you will witness treatments being performed by world class SMP practitioners all of whom have been personally trained by Aaron, as observation is a vitally important aspect of learning the Hairline Solutions SMP technique.

COURSE OVERVIEW:

DAY 1:

INTRODUCTION TO SMP.

Receiving your equipment with an in-depth discussion on why we use these chosen products.
Ink science.
Skin science.
How to assess the client to determine the strength of SMP required.
Choosing the correct ink strength, mixing ratios and factors affecting the final result achieved.
Practicing performing the first session (the base coat).
Practicing performing the second session (the topcoat).
Practicing performing a third session for additional future density (if required).

DAY 2:

THEORY AND UNDERSTANDING YOUR CLIENT'S NEEDS AND PREPARING THE TREATMENTS.

Health and Safety.
Preparing your clinic and equipment for performing treatments.
An explanation of the equipment used for cutting the hair to the correct length.
Preparing your client for treatment.
Hairline and temples design.
Zoning the scalp.
Application to the individual zones.
Graduation and blending to achieve a subtle and natural look.
Hairline and temple softening.
Cleaning and aftercare.

DAY 3:

PRACTICAL PHASE 1: PERFORMING AN SMP TREATMENT ON YOUR CLIENT.

Consultation with the client to discuss the treatment and to determine their personal requirements.
Completing the required paperwork.
Taking pre-treatment photographs.
Cutting the clients hair to the correct length.
Assessment of the clients’ skin type and any anomalies that may be present.
Cleaning and sanitizing the skin.
Hairline and temples design to suit the individual needs of the client.
Zoning the scalp.
Choosing the correct ink strength and needle size.
Performing a small test area and making adjustments accordingly.
Application of SMP to each of the predetermined zones in the correct order.
How to include a feature scar if required.
Adjusting ink strength and needle size to complete graduation and blending.
Cleaning and aftercare procedures.

DAY 4:

PRACTICAL PHASE 2: FURTHER PRACTICING SMP ON VARIOUS MEDIA.

Receiving inquiries and assessing the client's hair loss and treatment requirements.
Quote / treatment plan preparation.
In-depth discussion of paperwork i.e., Personal/Medical Questionnaire and Consent Form.
How to perform infill / density treatments for clients with thinning hair (male and female).
Scar coverage.

DAY 5:

ACHIEVING THE FINISHED RESULT ON YOUR CLIENT.

Assessment the results achieved from the first session.
Determining the ink strength, needle size and technique prior to commencement.
Application of the second treatment to achieve the perfect finished product.
Hairline and temple softening.
Post treatment care.
Taking photos of the finished SMP.
Discussing further treatments if necessary, as included in the provided Warranty.

COURSE INCLUSIONS:

5 days of personal tuition provided by Aaron and Jana in a classroom and clinic environment.
All necessary equipment comprising of Power Pack, Gun, Foot Switch, Needles, Ink, Cables.
Hair Cutting equipment including trimmers and rotary shaver.
Electronic templates for all paperwork and client forms.
Certificate of Competency / Completion upon reaching the required standard.
Ongoing support including initial promotion on Hairline Solutions social media platforms.

NOTE:

The equipment, power supply, needles and inks that are included as part of the course have been specifically selected, or developed by Hairline Solutions, as the most conducive available for providing quality SMP treatments.

Some States and Territories require you to hold Infection Control Certification to perform Skin Penetration Services. You will need to be enrolled on or hold Infection Control Certificate HLTINF005 if you reside in Queensland, and you will need to check with your local council to determine the requirements for your area of operation.

Students are requested to provide their own live models, and Hairline Solutions will endeavour to provide models where possible. We currently have models available if necessary.

One on One personal training with Aaron is available and can be tailored to suit a more flexible time plan. This option will provide the same amount of observation of Hairline Solutions practitioners performing treatments, plus additional hands-on practical training for the student.
