Save Your Throats From Getting Barbecued- Don’t Give A Miss To Priming Your Coils

I truly sympathise with the new vapers who often forget to prime their coils and end up infuriated with their vaping devices. I truly do, because I just witnessed one incident yesterday. I was waiting for my kilo’s white series e-liquid in that new smoke shop near International mall when this guy walked in with his vaping device in hand.

His face was so transparent that it took me not more than 10 seconds to figure out what he had gone through. “Poor soul! Must have barbecued his throat!” were the words floating in my mind and just then he asked for a new coil. I think half the vape shops in Miami must be having at least 5% profit because of this mistake that we do with our vape devices.

 

A tip to the new vapers

 

Just keep this in mind guys- Forgetting to prime the coil means barbecuing your throat! Switching on your vaping device without checking whether the coil is primed or not burns the wick which adds a pungent smell and a burning sensation to your throat. And, in addition to it, you destroy your coil even before using it.

 

Remember, when you place a new coil, the wick has to be soaked in your e-liquid to save it from burning it raw and give you the taste of burning cloth rather than the aromatic liquid that you just added. The wick takes a bit of time to soak completely, so wait for five minutes before you light it on.

 

Priming the coil is as easy as starting the vaping tool of yours. There is an opening near the coil heads and there are small grooves from where the wick would be visible. Add 3-5 drops of your e-liquid through those grooves to soak the wick completely rather than just the part that’s visible. Give a thorough glance using all the grooves and check if the wick has absorbed the liquid entirely. You can take small, mind you, small puffs to make sure that the wick’s soaking capacity has reached to its optimum level. This is to be done very carefully, because if you overdo it, there is a fair chance that you might end up flooding the coil.

 

Now, your coil is ready to be lit! When you fill your tank with the e-liquid, make sure everything is in place. If possible. Wait for five minutes, and then, all you need to is to enjoy the vape.
