SAN PANCHO: THE HIDDEN PARADISE OF NAYARIT
by Sergi Oliva San Pancho Nayarit, MexicoSan Francisco, commonly known as San Pancho. It would seem like it is not worth stopping, but believe me you will be surprised, the village is small and with a tranquility that attracts, with a cobblestone old style street and a singular charm.
You’ll find art galleries, jewelery and handicraft boutiques, a hotel with deluxe rooms with ocean views and gourmet restaurants, local folk selling handicrafts on the street, rustic inns with good vibes and taco stands, palapas on the beach and several cafes to have a good time.
The atmosphere is relaxed, very pleasant and even hippie but chic, you will find many foreigners living there, it has become one of the favorite destinations for expats. Its inhabitants have worried about their traditions, their food and above all, for nature, not to lose the authenticity of the town, it is an artistic and cultural place, full of wonderful local artisan products.
