Rutaksha Rawat- WHY TALKING IS GOOD FOR YOU
I
wrote this article because people underestimates the power of words. Silence is
touted as golden and it is. But the benefits of venting cannot be denied. Yes,
too much talking can lead to trouble but the trick is to share with a loved one
as opposed to a nosy neighbor or a jealous colleague.
So
good is talking that it really is in a sense therapy, minus the added costs. If
we are sharing good news or positive plans, we feel like we have laid the
foundation for betterment the moment we vocalize these plans with well wishers.
If
we share our fears or pains, we start to heal the moment we utter words
relating these to genuinely empathetic souls. Vocalising what hurt us in the
past can gradually heal us by making our subconscious accustomed to the idea of
what happened.
I
wrote this article to guide people who want to better themselves and are
looking for ways to improve their lives. A lot of people want to make positive
changes in their lives but don’t know where to begin and are unaware that
multiple small changes incorporated consistently over a long period can lead to
magical results. For instance, water can do wonders for people’s skin and
health. It can actually protect you from early ageing and guard you against
lifestyle diseases. It can also keep you in shape. Just incorporating this
simple and inexpensive habit can yield to you a gamut of benefits that will
continue to deliver till the day you live.
