Women everywhere are moving shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts in exploring the world and there's nothing that stop you from going on a motorcycle trip because of your gender. If you've never dared to go on a motorcycle ride, error 7 tried and tested tips that will help you exclude the world around you.

Pick a safe route

The first and most crucial thing to do while going on a long distance from specially if you are women is to research the route and pick the safest option possible. take some time to discuss the route options with somebody who has already made the trip before and ask if they think the route is safe for you as a woman. There could be other small things such as bad localities, or empty stretches of long roads in between places that might not be safe especially after sunset. In most cases the roads are safe for everybody, unless there is a political unrest or social movement happening at that location. Keep an eye on the news power all the spots you will cross through and check if there is an upcoming election or political activity, all rally coinciding with your riding schedule, and try to avoid it as much as possible. There is nothing more lawless than a mob.

Take a companion with you

Going on a solo road trip is definitely one of the most exciting things that you should definitely experience. So, if the route permits and you are confident of doing it alone, definitely try to go solo. But many riders are of the opinion that having a companion enhances the experience because they have somebody to share it with. As someone who has return both solo and with a companion throughout the Philippines, I definitely prefer having somebody with me on the road especially when I'm heading out to a completely strange destination with zero idea of the local population or if I anticipate any problem on the road. Eventually it all boils down to personal preference and if you don't like the idea of being alone on the road try to convince someone to come along. This might also come in handy if you are not too proficient with mechanical repairs, because it's always good to have somebody who knows their way around a motorcycle engine.

End rides before sunset

Although all the roads in the Philippines are completely safe and well-lit after sunset, there's no point in staying on the road longer than necessary. Always plan your rights in such a way that you can send them maximum by 7:00 PM so that you can reach the hotel room by then and settle down for the night. When I was riding my motorcycle throughout the Philippines, I always begin my rides as early as 4AM in the morning when the traffic is really low and you can cover a lot of ground without worrying about traffic or anything else for that matter. The best advantage of doing that was that I could easily reach my destination with a lot of sunlight remaining, which give me the opportunity to check out the local places and tourist attractions before hitting the bed.

Keep someone in the loop

Keeping someone in the loop at all times is one of the best ideas I have Personally found during my travels around the world. Not only does that keep them happy and in a positive state of mind regarding my safety, it also gives them enough information about my whereabouts to come up with a backup safety plan in case I get in some kind of unanticipated trouble. pick someone you trust back home and keep them in the loop whether either by calling them before beginning a ride every morning come over whenever you take a break in between the ride. If calling is not an option, you can always use mobile phone Application to share updates with them so that they can check whenever they have the time. I also have good quality premium motorcycle helmet that comes with Bluetooth module installed from the factory which lets me take calls on the go and I have connected it with Internet telephony voice call application switch completely eliminates the need to pay huge mobile phone bills!

Use SOS mobile applications

It might not be possible to call somebody when you are in trouble. Believe me, I've been in situations when I wished that there was something I could do with the press of a button and get help immediately. Nowadays, thankfully, there are mobile phone applications that double up as SOS (save our soul), emergency help getting applications. All you have to do is configure a set of switches or swipes on the touch screen and connect it with an action. The action can either be an automatic telephone call to the local Police Department, or somebody you trust, or sending somebody an emergency SMS. This can be extremely helpful in situations when you don't have the time to call somebody.

Take your safety seriously

Always be very conscious about your own safety, whether you are on the road, or sleeping in a hotel room. For example, when you're riding on the road, always use the best quality riding safety gears, including a premium helmet, boots and gloves. When you arrive at the hotel room check for hidden cameras and other nuisances that might jeopardize your safety. Always right or in your comfort zone and don't take any unnecessary risks when overtaking a vehicle, or navigating blind turns.

Check-in into a safe hotel

Take your time to book your accommodations before beginning the right and check into a safe hotel that has good reviews. while checking reviews make sure that you evaluate different platforms rather than just checking out it on one place. A better idea is to consult with other people who have stayed at the destination you are heading out to, and get their recommendations for good and safe hotels.
