Fiorentina inserted a secret clause into the loan contract for MU Sofyan Amrabat worth 10 million euros.

Amrabat joined MU on time under the transfer deadline under a 1-year loan contract from Fiorentina, worth 10 million euros with a buyback fn88 clause of 25 million euros, including 5 million euros in surcharges.
Sources from Il Tirreno, Italy said that before agreeing to loan the Moroccan midfielder to MU, the Serie A representative insisted on inserting a clause into the agreement. That means, if Erik ten Hag's team does not permanently buy Sofyan Amrabat at the end of the season, Fiorentina can extend the midfielder's contract until summer 2026.
Fiorentina does this to avoid losing Amrabat's value in the context that his contract only has 1 year left (summer 2025) if MU does not choose to sign a long-term contract.
Rakhoitv The information also said that in order to include the above conditions in the contract, Fiorentina agreed to let MU "defer payment" in the context that the Old Trafford team is facing difficulties because of financial fairness laws.
Serie A representatives valued Sofyan Amrabat at about 35 million euros before the Moroccan midfielder left. The loan cost to MU (10 million euros) for this player plus the agreement to buy him permanently next year as well as additional fees (25 million euros) is the total amount.
Erik ten Hag said Sofyan Amrabat is the ideal number 6 he needs at MU. However, Red Devils fans will have to wait longer to see this midfielder play due to a back injury (discovered during a medical examination).
