Receiving Eternal Life is not easy, until you Believe in the Bible
by Digital Solution Expert Digital Solution ExpertWhat is Jesus’s plan for
the eternal life for a man?
Several of the individuals living
on this earth still exist in ignorance concerning Jesus’s plan for the
redemption of humankind. The scriptures, moreover, make His plan for our
salvation clear.
We have repented against the
God
Each one of us living on this
planet is convicted of sinning against God. We are falling short of His
majestic norm. We are evil by choice, and He is inherently good.
We break the guidelines of the
holiness of the Jesus in the sayings that we pursue, the thoughts that we
think, and the deeds that we take. We are also breaking His norms in our
moments of indifference or negligence.
We ought to die, but Jesus
gives us eternal life as an unmerited gift.
Most people wrongly assume that
they can receive eternal life or redemption. If asked to most people
that why Lord will grant them everlasting life, they would say, they have
always done right in life. However, the Scriptures teach the reverse.
Immoral men cannot receive
eternal life, but it can be offered as a gift. Jesus Christ can give us
redemption because He lived a good, sanctifying grace for us, condemned to
death to make atonement for our sins, and emerged from the grave to overcome
the spirit of sin.
We may not deserve to be saved
and receive eternal life, but we can believe in the Bible, to embrace the
salvation as an unearned gift from Jesus Christ.
How to be saved? When we
believe in Jesus, we will be saved.
The minute we truly trust Jesus
to save us, we are acceptable. This implies that God finds us innocent, and our
guilt no more prevents us from having a relationship with Him.
Today, in the presence of
Christ, we are known as ‘righteous.’ He no longer blames us for our sins and
accepts us as His child.
If you believe in the
Bible, you will know that Jesus has given us a spiritual birth.
Once we believe in God, we are
spiritually alive. We have a different sort of conception, one that is secular
in nature. Having born biologically is not enough to be a part of Jesus’s
kingdom. We need to be born spiritually to attach with God, and this happens
the very second we believe in the Bible.
Jesus is the only way to
be saved and receive eternal life,
as there is no other Savior for us. He offers Himself to us, but does not force
us to believe in Him. He will always love us as His child and protects us from
doing wrong.
