1 Cup Rajma Pressure Cooked.
2 Large Potatoes pressure Cooked.
1 Chopped Onion.
2 Table Spoon Besan (Chickpea Flour)
1 Tea Spoon each of Ginger & Garlic Paste.
1 Tea Spoon each of Turmeric Powder, Chilli Powder & Garam Masala.
½ Tea Spoon of Lemon Juice or Amchur Powder.
3 Table Spoon of Oil for Pan Frying.
1 Tea Spoon of Salt. Qty can be altered to Taste.
STEP-1: Soak 1 Large Cup Rajma overnight which translates to about 12 Hours off Soaking time. Drain out the water and Pressure cook Rajma for 15 Minutes in 2 Cups of Water. The Beans will get soft in about 15 Whistles. Mash the Beans in a Mixer after pressure cooking.
STEP-2: Take 2 Large sized Potatoes and pressure Cook them in 2 Cups of Water. The Potatoes will get boiled in 3 Whistles ideally. Drain the Water and mash the potatoes.
STEP-3: Finely Chop 1 Onion & Sautee it in a small Pan with 3 Table Spoon oil over medium Heat. Add 2 Table Spoon Besan (Chickpea Flour),1 Tea Spoon each of Ginger & Garlic Paste and 1 Tea Spoon each of Turmeric Powder, Chilli Powder & Garam Masala. Mix well till the aroma of Ginger and Garlic Goes Away and close the Flame.
STEP-4: Now we Create the Kebab Mixture by mixing Mashed Beans, Mashed Potatoes and the Sautee Onion Mixture outlined in Step-3. Add ½ Spoon of Lemon Juice or Amchur Powder to this mixture. Add Salt to taste. Create small sized Balls of this Mixture and Flatten them into Kebab Shapes.
STEP-5: Heat 2 Table Spoon Oil in a Pan. On a Low Flame, Pan Fry the Rajma Kebabs. Flip and Fry both sides of the Kebab till they turn Golden. Remove the Kebabs into a plate and Serve it Hot with your favourite Chutney.
