If you are feeling helpless in such a situation, then let me tell you that it can be solved easily. Printing in QuickBooks is its essential and key feature so there are ample solutions available in the software. Often, printing issues arise when there is a missing or a corrupt component in QuickBooks or when there is an issue with the printer or the computer. With the help of QuickBooks Support, we have solutions to the QuickBooks won’t print situation.

Before we check with the software, there some basic checks which you must do externally to check if there is no fault:

Switched off or an offline printer, an obvious mistake where QuickBooks won’t print at all.

Misaligned or missing paper tray

Nullified QuickBooks printer driver

Logged in using a guest account on Windows.

QuickBooks must be of the latest software

The current Windows Operating System must be updated before resolving QuickBooks issues

Check if the correct printer driver is installed and that there are no connectivity issues between the computer and the printer.

You should be able to print otherwise also, out of QuickBooks.

If the above steps are checked and the problem still persists. In that case, use the QuickBooks print and PDF tool to fix common printing issues. After running the Print and PDF tool, try printing again to check if it is resolved. Or else, try the steps mentioned below manually:

Locate the file(QBPrint.qbp) on the computer which is having trouble with printing on Quickbooks.

Manually rename the file using any word to prefix.

On Windows 7,8 and 10, the file location would be C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks 2XXX.

Right click on the QBPrint.qbp file to rename it.

Open QuickBooks and the company file and a new QBPrint.qbp file will be created automatically.

Open the transaction with which you had trouble printing and check if it works fine now. You can try printing the sample file to check if the problem was with the file.

We are hopeful that the above methods will help you resolve your QuickBooks will not print issues on QuickBooks. If it continues to be a problem, then you can reach out to QuickBooks Support for expert guidance.
