Process of Scanning with Epson Printer

With digital scanning facility, Epson printers are not merely an average scanner in the world of Devices and Printers. Due to its different usage modes, editing functions and components, it ensures you to get the best replica (with obviously best resolution) from original documents. With minimal technical experience it is easy to operate these scanning devices. What you have to keep in mind the basic printer configuration and document set-up.

You can save documents as one PDF after scanning multiple pages or photos on your system with the help of scanner.

1. First, place the main page of the document or photo.

2. On the scanner press the Scan to PDF button. You will see the Scan to PDF screen.

3. Now, click the Settings option. A window will appear.

4. Select amongst the Color, Grayscale or Black&White option as per to match the colors of original document.

5. For opening the Size list click the arrow. Now you can select the size of your original document.

6. You can also create a custom size if you are unable to find your preferred size from the list. Select Customize and click the arrow in the Size list. Source Size window will appear.

7. Next to the Resolution list click on arrow and choose the number of dots you want to scan per inch.

8. In the Image Adjustments in the window use the settings to change the quality of image if required.

9. After clicking File save Settings, you will see a File Save Settings window. You will see present PDF settings.

10. Click Options if you want to alter any PDF settings. Epson PDF Plug-in Settings window will be displayed.

11. Now again click OK> Close and then Scan or you can tap Start button on scanner. You page will be scan.

12. Keep replacing pages on document table with other pages if you want to scan multiple pages.

13. Click Finish when you are done or press Scan to PDF button on scanner. The document will be saved as a PDF file.
