Preparing the Teens for the Future Ahead

by Mudassar Ali Tourist and Writer!
The world that we live in is changing drastically. While a lot of new things are being introduced, the extensive medical research is also changing our perceptions about things that were once considered a taboo by our society. One such thing would be the cannabis. As has been common knowledge, cannabis is always associated with words like “high”, “stoned”, and “addictive.” It was true for a time but the latest discoveries have changed the perception now. As per the current knowledge, only the THC in the cannabis leaves you feeling high. Its counterpart, CBD is a heaven for people who seem to be fighting epilepsy, Alzheimer’s , cancer and other such health issues.

With so much changing, it is important that we teach our teens the difference between right and wrong. Canada has recently legalized cannabis use in the country, so much so that it will now be used by the army as well. Talking to our teens in such circumstances and telling them about cannabis has become really important now.

It starts with you
You cannot expect to make the kids understand when you yourself are not clear on how medically cannabis that is low in THC different from the one that isn’t. To bring the change that we seek, we first need to educate ourselves. It comes as no brainer that our generation has been brainwashed by years of propaganda that has been blaming cannabis and considering it something illegal. The fact that it became the handling ground for mafia further made the matters worse. So, begin by t=researching and teaching yourself on how medical marijuana is not something regular. It is a potent herb which has the power to change your life.

Then begin the talk
If you sit back to read, you will realize that CBD rich cannabis oil Canada is actually safer than alcohol and tobacco. So, the best way to introduce would be to begin by having them ask you all the questions that might be there in their heads. Let them clear all the confusions that they have so that you can then proceed to clear their doubts. Marijuana is a healthier choice and teens today need to do that. In fact, when given a choice it should always be given preference over tobacco smoking too since it lacks the addictive nicotine which is responsible for bringing on a lot of health issues.

The next mode of action should be telling nothing but the truth. You need to tell them the benefits cannabis has from the medical point of view and how it can improve the quality of life they are living. However, most of these benefits are listed for adults only and this is why the teens should be regulated and taught to stay away from it.

Introduction to things that they were never really meant to use in the first place is not a good choice. Teach them to wait so that they can continue to enjoy life without catching any health issue.
